July 2024 said goodbye with the opening of the great and new Trans Dinarica cycling route that connect eight European countries. This bike trail transforms into one of the most important infrastructures of this continent<\/a>.<\/p>

The new European bike trail with a 3 thousand miles length and 8 countries to cross, such as: Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Northern Macedonia, Kosovo, Serbia and Slovenia.<\/p>

The huge length allows cyclists to cross different and many landscapes<\/a>. The current cycling infrastructure covers national parks, forests, villages, highways with low transit, pre-existent cycling routes, such as Western Balkans and Adriatic Coast.<\/p>

The trans dinarica bike route, offers a unique experience to cyclists, who now can appreciate natural landscapes, historic cities, conspicuous urban environments. In this way, bike path works as a physical bridge among these countries, but also as a cultural one.<\/p>

Of course, the magno bike lane also represents a tourism opportunity for those nations, where their main objective is foster visits to villages and places with a touristic approach, expecting to have a greater sustainable economic development.<\/p>

Let\u2019s emphasize that the Trans dinarica bike trail is divided in sections of 50km. At the end of everyone, cyclists will find a place to rest, sleep and stay.<\/p>

The developer of the project, GoodTrail looked that this great cycling infrastructure benefit economically to local communities of the region.<\/p>

This isn\u2019t an idea just for cyclist to cover the route, but stop in specific zones and enjoy the beauty of different countries, such as Croatia, Serbia, Albany and Montenegro.<\/p>

How did arise the new Trans Dinarica bike way?<\/h2>

The idea of the trans dinarica bike path arise since 2016, when three touristic operators tried to find the way to create a corridor that covers from Western Balkans. The intention was combining the cycling with the old world<\/a> of the region.<\/p>

In addition, it was planned that with this project, more people would know and visit the sites of UNESCO, villages and national parks of the zone.<\/p>

After almost 8 years, this bike route was done at the end of June, now, this route represents an ecologic alternative to motorized transport that work in all aspects.<\/p>

Mainly, is a great safe connection among different countries.<\/p>

It also works as a way to boost tourism and local economy. Finally, represents the advance in mobility and sustainable transports.<\/p>
