Residents and tourists of Jojutla can ride safer in their bikes thanks to the inauguration of the new cycle path in Tequesquitengo.<\/p>

It was this 28th<\/sup> of August of 2024, when municipal president of Jojutla, Alan Mart\u00ednez Garc\u00eda inaugurated the bike way and the Arch of welcome, both set in one of the main accesses to Tequesquitengo.<\/p>

For now, it\u2019s a first stage of the Tequesquitengo-Tlatenchi cycle path. In this phase has almost 1.2 miles of length and is located on Jojutla highway.<\/p>

The aim is attract a greater quantity of tourism, improve urban image, ease mobility in a sustainable transport and foster physical activity<\/a> through bike exercise.<\/p>

Cycle path in Tequesquitengo, an anchor for tourism<\/strong><\/h2>

A bike way is an excellent option between one destiny and other. By being an exclusive lane for cyclists, these can go faster and protected of motorists.<\/p>

Thanks to this, fosters the use of sustainable transport while, cheer up people to visit new places quickly and economically.<\/p>

The mayor commented that these public spaces work as anchor for tourists, helping to local economy. For that, call on visitors and residents to enjoy the cycle path in Tequesquitengo, but at the same time to take care of it and maintain it in a good condition.<\/p>

The cycle path in the Tequesquitengo deliverance goes to two directions: town and touristic zone. It has a surface greater than 39,826 ft\u00b2of intervention with more than 3,280 linear ft of curbs. The bike way zone takes around 5,905 ft. <\/p>

All the spaces will have an improvement in the following stages. They will have bus stations and primarily, green areas. It will also implement outdoor exercise devices and even, it will try to create a space dedicated for children to play.<\/p>

Cycle paths, a boost to create jobs<\/strong><\/h2>

During inauguration ceremony, it was also present Luis Mej\u00eda in representation of the College of Architects of Morelos state.<\/p>

Mej\u00eda acknowledged governor his commitment to create more areas for society to enjoy, but, at the same time to create work opportunities for local companies, which constructed this new bike way.<\/p>

In this way, bike way in Tequesquitengo transforms into an example of how cycling lanes are sources of income, and not obstacles for commerce. In one hand, create direct jobs, while on the other, support the local consumption<\/a> in nearby businesses through cycle path runs.<\/p>

Inauguration was also attended by the syndic Amada Mart\u00ednez Mor\u00e1n, the alderwomen Mirsa Su\u00e1rez Maldonado and the teacher Patricia Luna Dominguez, the alderman Alberto Salgado P\u00e9rez, municipal council David Basave, inhabitants of Tequesquitengo and local service providers.<\/p>
