Ni\u00f1os H\u00e9roes bike path, when started to work?<\/strong><\/h2>

Authorities of Mexican metropolis inaugurated the new Ni\u00f1os H\u00e9roes bike path at the beginning of this year. On Friday 23rd<\/sup> was announced the completion of this exclusive lane.<\/p>

Since then, bike fans have a new route; performing their journeys in a safer way on this new track.<\/p>

Also, this represents an achievement in citizen mobility. Thanks to the expansion of cyclist infrastructure through capital, help to sustainable transport to have greater and longer spaces.<\/p>

Where is located?<\/strong><\/h2>

The new Ni\u00f1os H\u00e9roes bike way<\/a> is located in Cuauht\u00e9moc city hall, and as its name indicates cover Ni\u00f1os H\u00e9roes av.<\/p>

It has a total length of 1.4 miles, that covers from Eje 1 Sur Doctor Rio de la Loza to Eje 2 Sur Doctor Balmis.<\/p>

How is constructed?<\/h2>

The purpose of this construction is provide safety, comfort and connectivity.<\/p>

In one hand, have cyclist lanes at sides of avenues, one with the same direction as cars and other on the opposite way.<\/p>

Likewise, Secretar\u00eda de Movilidad (Mobility Secretariat) informed that for users to pedal safe, the new track has separation devices and neutral areas. Thanks to that accomplishment, there’s a division between vehicle transit and cyclist.<\/p>

In the same way, presents vertical and horizontal signage, as refuge islands for pedestrians, generating a safe transit between people who walk and people who use their bikes.<\/p>

In addition, one of the main purposes of bike ways: connect with other means of public transport and interest or functional points.<\/p>

Transport and avenues that connect with Ni\u00f1os H\u00e9roes bike route<\/strong><\/h2>

Location of this allow to connect with different avenues, points of interest and means of public transport as Sistema de Transporte Colectivo (STC) Metropolitano (Metro) and Metrobus.<\/p>

Nearby is line 3 of metro or line 2 of trolley-bus; and also bike lane circulates in the Doctores neighborhood.<\/p>
